Privacy policy

VibeSweep checks vibe-coded apps before launch. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect, what we do with it, and what we don't do.

What we collect

• Your email address, so we can send your report and the VibeSweep newsletter.
• Your app URL and/or GitHub repo, so we know what to check.
• If you buy a sweep, the payment details our payment provider needs. We don't see or store your full card number.

The signup form is run by Beehiiv, our newsletter provider, so the details you type into it are stored by Beehiiv on our behalf. Beehiiv's form may set its own cookies and use its own analytics and bot protection inside the embedded form; see Beehiiv's privacy policy. This site itself doesn't set cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may collect basic, cookie-free traffic statistics and keep standard server logs (like IP address and browser type) for security.

How we check your app

• Live URL: we run passive, automated checks. We load public pages the way a visitor would, read what your server sends back, and measure speed. We don't log in, submit forms, write data, or attack anything.
• GitHub repo: we only scan public GitHub repos and never ask for access to your account. We make a temporary copy of the public repo to scan it for leaked secrets and committed .env files. We never change your code.

What we keep, and for how long

• Repo copies are deleted once your report is delivered.
• We keep your report and your email so we can answer questions, do your free re-sweep, and send the newsletter.
• If a check finds a secret (like an API key), it appears in your report, partly masked, so you can rotate it. We don't use it for anything.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the services we need to run VibeSweep (Beehiiv for the signup form and newsletter, Resend to deliver report emails, Cloudflare for hosting, and Stripe for payments).
• We don't publish your report or your findings.

Your choices

• Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Email us to see, correct, or delete the data we have about you, and we'll do it.
